Welcome
After another successful year, O-Portugal starts the 2009 season with the challenge of bringing you more challenging training possibilities. Again the high standard accommodation near the training areas and technical challenging sand dune terrain provided the athletes good training sessions and satisfaction on their visit. |

One of them was Eva Jurenikova, the Czech national team runner, member of Domnarvets GoIF and coach of IFK Moras OK. She was kind to give us a comment: |

”I have been in Mira at a training camp twice; with the Czech national team in February 2007 and then with my two Swedish clubs - Domnarvets GoIF and IFK Moras OK in February 2008. The main reason why I chose Mira for the club camp was the big choice of various orienteering exercises, most of them close to the accommodation. The high quality maps, rather technical terrain, soft ground, professional organizers and pleasant weather at the sea coast already in February - other runners should also try it. We were very satisfied with the whole package both times.” |
